Happy November!!!
Wow!!! Can you believe it is already November?!?
We are recovering from the Halloween Weekend, I sent a very tired little girl off to school today, and hoping our little man's school pictures turn out well and he doesn't look too sleepy :)
We had a five day weekend and took advantage of the no school days to host a Halloween Party!!!
We invited the kids to wear their costumes and bring a pumpkin to paint!
My sweet creative girl made this adorable sign to greet the guests!
I love that the kids {especially as they get older} like to be involved in helping, crafting and designing the party! {I do have to let go a bit and accept that it won't all be perfect, but it is nice for them to feel included and a part of the process. It actually worked out really well and kept them busy during their days off school! A Big Bonus!!!}
Inspired by The Celebration Shoppe the kiddos and I created mummy rice krispie bars and marshmallow ghosts. The ghosts were so fun for the kids, they drew the faces and helped each other add the marshmallows {they found it a bit tricky to get into the narrow bags}
I went with my one of my favorite color combos for this party! Black, Orange, Grey and a hint of blue! I tweaked my Halloween Printables a bit to make the change. This collection was not added to the shop this year, but will be for next fall!
I love the combination so much that you will likely see it in our soon to be released Thanksgiving Collection!
I love making {a great little craft while watching Dancing with the Stars} and using paper medallions and tissue poms to brighten up the party area!!!
We had left over candy eyes so we spruced up our brownies :)
Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!
