{Sneak Peek} New Holiday Collections!

Hello Friends and Happy December!
I am excited to share a quick peek of a couple Holiday Collections I am working on!

The inspiration for this little "Snow Much Fun Collection" came of course from my love of the snow and snow sports along with the fun memories I have as a kid going sledding with my family and friends.
This would make a perfect invitation for a day of snow fun, or a winter birthday party!
I will be adding more items shortly to complete this collection.

 "Elegant Holiday Collection"
This holiday collection is done in one of my favorite color combinations of green, white and black. I wanted to incorporate a little elegance into a Holiday collection so that it could be used for adult parties! The "Elegant Holiday Collection"includes invitation, gift tags, thank you tags, name/place cards, table labels and wine labels.

Both of the Holiday Collections will be available in my new etsy shop very soon, and they can be customized to fit your celebration perfectly!

{Designs Just Bloomed} Gratitude Thanksgiving Collection!

 The Fall/Thanksgiving collection has arrived!
introducing the

Big News!
The "Gratitude Collection" is available in my
It will be ON SALE through November 17th!

While designing this collection I focused on textured backgrounds, with a modern twist on the traditional fall color scheme.
I just love how it all came together!

It is a tradition in our family to go around the table, at the start of Thanksgiving dinner, and each person says what they are most thankful for at that moment. I thought since the little ones are getting older, it would be fun to actually write down what we are thankful for and display them as a banner.

"Gratitude Tags"
These cute little tags have a fun textured background.
They are 2.5 inch square.
You can trim them with scissors or with a square or scalloped square punch.
They are very versatile and can be used as place cards, cupcake toppers, or favor tags.

(that's for you Grammy Debi, so excited for your visit!)

"Table Labels"
The table labels can be used to label all of your delicious food, and/or as place cards for your guests.

"Thank You Tags"
Also, included in the collection are thank you tags. Send your guests home with a special treat, so they know how thankful you are for each one of them!

The collection includes:
Fill in Invitation
Fill in Menu
Blank Table Labels/Place Cards
Gratitude Tags (thankful, grateful, give thanks, blessed)
Thank You Tags
I Am Thankful For Tags

The gratitude tags, table labels/place cards, invitation, and menu can all be customized!

After much debate and great advice from some very sweet party girls, I decided to open up an Etsy Shop.
I am looking forward to adding my designs to the shop over the next few weeks!

Wishing you a Happy Wednesday!

Thanksgiving/Fall Tablescape!

Last week I hosted a Stampin' Up party.
My friend/neighbor is a demonstrator and I have been wanting to host a workshop for quite awhile now!

I decided to set up a little table for the treats.
The catch... I challenged myself to only using what I had on hand, no shopping!
I will be honest, by this time I was burnt out with Halloween decor and I was in the middle of switching items around in my house preparing for fall.
I decided to go with a Fall/Thanksgiving inspired table.

I started by layering the table with burlap then brown fabric and finally a burnt red table cloth.

I really wanted to send the girls home with a homemade goodie, so I decided to make the caramel that I had seen here.
As I was thinking about where to set it on the table and walking around my house looking for inspiration, I found this shelf (which I had yet to hang up).

I added the jars of caramel to it, but it needed more. I fiddled with the hooks and realized that I could get them to turn upside down too, so I hung apples from them.
I loved how it turned out, and I decided that it would make a great focal point for the table.

Here is where I confess... I didn't have time to photograph the table before the guests arrived, so I had enough food left over to take photos the following day.
I had a hard time deciding how I wanted the table to look in the photographs.
Should the back drop be completely brown, no brown at all, or draped open?
Should I add height with candle holders, etc?
Should I hang the shelf or set it on the table or the hay or...?
So you see where I am going with this, I had a very indecisive day!
I designed and redesigned and along the way I took pictures.

The picture above does not have risers for the plates!
Below I added risers!

The picture above does not have a background, the picture below has a brown backdrop.

Although, these are suttle changes, I feel they make a BIG difference!

Thankfully I was able to decide on desserts :)

I ultimately did enjoy styling this table! I added a few personal touches with the thank you tags for the caramel and the table labels for the desserts. I also designed this welcome banner.

I enjoyed the challenge of only using what I had on hand. It is fun to repurpose items around the house, and to come up with your own unique ideas of how to use them!
I didn't quite make the challenge of not buying anything, I ended up buying these flowers! (does that count? :)

The "thank you tags" and "table labels" are part of my Fall/Thanksgiving collection that will be available soon in my little boutique! If you need them sooner, you can email me at partydesignsinbloom@live.com

Have a Fabulous Weekend!

Halloween Play Date!

We had a few little girls over to play last week, and we sat up a quick table with some goodies to snack on!
I found this corduroy fabric awhile back and just loved it!
Of course I wasn't sure what I might do with it, but I knew I had to have it ;)
I am pretty sure you will see it again soon!

I had a few orange flowers left over from earlier in the week.
There were not enough to make a full bouquet, so I grabbed a few bud vases, lined them up across the table and tied them with ribbon.

I still had my black branches left from the previous Halloween table, so I cut them down and added them to a vase to give the table some height.

We offered a light healthy snack with a few treats.
I did try the oreo cookie mummy pops that I previously posted about, they were easy and yummy!

I made a quick banner to pull the table together, and added a few table labels and tags!

A quick and easy little snack table!

This wraps up the Halloween season!

I have to say I am ready to move on to the Holidays!

I have a couple fun projects I am working on!
I will be opening up an online boutique within the week and I am thrilled!
Check back for more information on the Holiday Designs and the opening of the boutique!

This inexpensive and cute display of little treat bags by Amy Atlas is a great idea.

It is always fun to take home a yummy treat! I am on a constant search for the perfect caramel recipe. I am going to try this one from How Does She. It will be fun to dress up the jar and send it home with each child to enjoy with their families!
